small group workshops | studio light and newborn photography

Kasia is best known for her natural looking use of studio light in newborn and baby photography and simple yet beautiful images she creates. The focus of her training is the use of studio light and creating natural and timeless images that show emotional connection.

Naturally Beautiful Workshop Highlights:
Small Groups (max 5 people) | Studio Light | Newborn & Family posing workflow | Preset

I strongly believe that light is one of key factor in creating stunning images for your clients. I also believe that you shouldn’t be limited to or by available natural light. Instead, I will teach you how to replace natural light window with my ‘studio window‘ system that uses studio light and is easy to replicate in any studio space.

When it comes to newborn photography, I believe in simplicity and connection. I have stopped using props other than parents themselves and  shifted my focus from attempting elaborated poses to capturing simple beauty, details, emotions and connection. I also love photographing ‘older’ newborns, and never say no to babies 3-6 weeks old.

What will be covered:

Studio lighting that I use in my newborn sessions, including my signature ‘studio window’ set up. I’ll show you how to create it and how to make it work to achieve the natural light look.
– Newborn Session workflow, with the focus on working with parents. I will talk you through my typical newborn session workflow covering poses/set ups for the following: newborn+mum, newborn+dad, whole family images, as well as individual images of a newborn. We’ll then put it all into practice and you’ll be able to see me work with a newborn and parents.
Editing my images, though when the light works, there is very little editing required!
